nothing freaks a guy out more than hearing those words right ......
well for the last few months my wife said when we looked at video and image captures at our place that is NOT the big 10 point !
there were images in some cases of a 10 point that looked like a slightly different animal .
I always said it is the same deer dear , it is just camera angle ......
told her the chances of it being another 10 point almost identical to the other is like a million to one .....
she said that one isn't as big as the other one , it has a smaller body and etc etc etc
well as it goes every time he appeared I looked him over and the rack was always the same rack ......or so ding dong me thunk .....
fast forward to this weeks images .....
ANOTHER 10 point is running all over the ranch now !
it also seems to me he might possibly be ever so slightly larger than the one we harvested
so now here i sit having to tell her seems you were right honey .....
and nothing freaks a guy out more than those words as well .................

some of them look like they need to slow down on the rut activity for sure and get back on the food wagon .
the good news is there seems to be several legal bucks hanging out this late in the season.
last year they smoked all the good ones pretty quickly in our area .
made me sad to see so many quality bucks go away in such a short time frame last year .
passed a bunch of times on some really nice regulars early on last year never to see them again
such are smaller properties with meat hunters surrounding them right .....
