    A friend down here in south Arkansas knows a guy who bought a bunch of ring neck pheasant chicks from Kansas or somewhere, then released them into the tomato fields down in Hermitage, Arkansas. He says every now and then, one will run across the road in front of you while you're driving around.

    They are beautiful birds for sure! Thanks for posting the pic and enjoy your supper!

    nothing beats a cackling rooster exploding from under your feet on a cool crisp morning .
    used to hunt them back in the day myself , really prime time fun for sure .
    the young fella and the dog are both smiling , very nice
