    Default I DIDN'T do it .....

But I pretended to do it , if that matters .....
It was fun to bring out the old recurve and play like an Indian .
The wind was terribly high and it was really hot .
The deer were really late in the day and that early as well .
The high wind had them SUPER jumpy , as you can imagine .
Full alert deer are NOT an archers friend for sure ......
I opted for a hog hunt one evening and right as I was gathering my stuff to leave....
THERE they were , silent as can be and jumpy as the deer ...
got one round off in a hurry and only scared the living you know what out them ....
good times for sure , not a single deer of the herds I watched early and late came anywhere near me and one group that came in way down wind about 200 yards away spooked as soon as they crossed my wind .
first sit I saw 7 bucks and 8 does and about 7 or 8 pigs and it was in the low 90 degree range outside .....
took a few photos here and there .
sure do enjoy our little spot out there .....
game cameras indicate the wildlife is thick in there , but it is quite possible to sit sometimes and only see a few deer , amazing how that many deer ,hogs and even a few turkey can be so elusive .....

in my selfie image if you follow that road in the grass about a half a mile , when the road turns right to go down the property line ,the bow blind is to the left just a tad right inside the wood line
