Back when I was a teenager I would have been hooked. Probably would not have seen any deer since I would not have left the lift still

I've got one of the Redneck blinds. Its nicer than my first apartment. In inclement weather or with kids its my go to. I prefer the tree stand though.

I have built a few over the years. Biggest was 12 feet to the bottom. On 12 inch cedar post. 4 foot x 10 foot. Lower half had white shag carpet from the rug mill dumpster. Sure wash quiet. I never got around to building the ground blind that looks like a round bail of hay. Not my idea. Saw it on the net. Those things look awesome.
