Still nothing to be found. I need some 20 ga target loads for sporting clays. The few I have found are more than double what I paid a case last time.

Shotgun shells here seem to be in pretty good supply. I have not bought any in over a year so I haven't checked and prices. I have noticed if the have something in one part of town that you will likely find it there again. But you may not ever see it just a few miles down the road. 22 LR for example.

I have not seen primers on the shelves in around a year. It is an enjoyable pastime.

I put a 350 Legend AR15 upper together 2 weeks ago. It's for hunting so I do not need any FMJ's just Hunting ammo. I live in a state where we can use most any rifle in the woods..so straight wall ammo like 450 Bushmaster and 350 legend are not stocked here very often. I bought some 350 Legend ammo online, Winchester 180 gr power point and 160 grain "Defender" which is sold as a self defence round. The Defender bullets should work well for my close up hog shooting, I think.. A couple weeks ago I saw a new gun store had opened up, I knew they carry a lot of "Black Gun Stuff" at their store 40 miles north of me. I went to the local store today and saw 3 boxes of winchester 350 Legend 150 grain XP Deer Season on the shelf, been looking for this ammo for a few weeks with no luck...I bought all 3 and price was better than online pricing since there was no shipping. Now if its shoots nicely in my rifle I will be happy..The guy in front of me bought 2000 rounds of Wolf 300 Black Out FMJ, price was $499 per 500 on the box, he bought all they had and wanted more...... The guy got some kind of Club discount and his total was still $1800, I thought Wolf was the Cheap stuff, maybe it was but not today.

How do you like the 350 Legend? Looks like a hunting round for sure.
I played around with the 50 Beowolf when it came out in the late 90's. It was a lot of fun to shoot. Packed a decent thump out of an ar platform

Have only shot the 350 about 40 rounds, mostly with Winchester 160 grain Defender ammo, Shot about 10 rounds of 180 gr Power Point Winchester. It is a new build with a new 16" Faxon Gunner barrel, so I did the 1 shot and swab for the first 8 or so shots..only took 3 shots to get it zeroed at 50 yards. Then a couple more to get it right at 100 yards. Once I shoot a few of the 150 grain XP bullets I will know which ones are best for this barrel.. For this upper I used a new Burris 2.5-10x42mm scope on a Warne Xskel mount. So far the 350 is looking good, It is lighter in weight than my 450 Bushmaster and felt recoil is quite a bit less than the 450. The 450 works well on the hogs, big hole going in, bigger hole coming out.. I am hoping the 350 Bridges the gap between the 450BM and the 6.5 Grendel I have been using most of the time.
