Our big bucks are summering somewhere else.
    All I have is kids.
    That’s a lot of pork!
Have your neighbors been catching many hogs?

Big, small, old, young as destructive as pigs are I don't understand why they aren't all whacked, stacked, processed and given to the needy.

    Agree

...no one should have to go hungry if there is a huge problem with these wild boar

There are groups out there that do just that. It is an expensive process.

With all the money available in the wealthiest Nation in the world, expense , conservation, and food needs should be able to converge, eh?

I don't believe it is so much an issue of wealth as it is an issue of greed. With some charitable organizations only providing pennies on the dollar to the cause they represent. With farmers and ranchers being paid not to produce food. During last years pandemic livestock was killed and buried because there was no were to process it. These animals could not be lawfully sold or given away.

wild hogs in that area if ALIVE can be sold at the local dog food plant not far away .
as far as human consumption I am not aware of who might be taking them to donate away .

I need to find out who in MO is whacking hogs as my son does a great job of grinding and processing venison and could do same for hogs. then could give to local food pantries or directly to those who need it.
