Default the things you might see on video around the feeders

So after we pull cards on the 4 locations at our place we sit around and review what took place the week before we got there . This week was one of those weeks where you see things that are according to the norms ,experts and etc. that just don't occur at certain times of the year.
Now mind you some of the videos also reinforce what I was taught years ago by a seriously great deer hunter . So fast forward to a slightly larger buck with his nose in a does rear end and following her like a rut buck ! Then as he attempts to gain access his smaller buddy interrupts his advances as they are all single file and nose to tail .
Next video the doe has moved off to the side and the bucks are feeding a bit and then about that time the larger buck pulls the old bighorn sheep move with a sneak up behind his buddy and tosses a jab into his privates from behind !
Well at that point the old saying that it isn't the deer in the fight ,it is the fight in the deer kicks in and the smaller younger buck turns and the fist fighting begins !
Let me tell yawl this , that little buck went hard and fast on the larger fight starter and ran him plum out of the video frame with a classic hoof beat down !
Sometimes the facts about deer are not the facts and in the end remember this .....
The "dominant" buck in any given area is NOT always the biggest and that my friends is a fact .

Next camera at another spot we have a western red tail hawk strike , this bird of prey works that area of our place for its meals .
Last week my bud found just about a foot of tail off a large rat snake and a bit of its midsection right beside the road 50 yards from a camera in our driveway .
when he sent the photo of what he found ,he asked what ate the snake and I answered very probably a big hawk .
Well seems maybe I wasn't far off my guess as this week it seems to have found a small something by the feeder .
It appears in real time to be a mouse ,but the video is from a good distance away and its difficult to be sure , it might be a lizard ?
hope you enjoy the images and have a great day

Those hawks are Beautiful creatures. I used to sit in a shooting house and watch them hunt over a sage grass field.

western redtails are simply iconic birds of prey , if one flies over with the sun above it ,the tail is just fabulous
