    Default LC Smith 28 Gauge

    Fellas,

I have an LC Smith 28 gauge side by side with exterior hammers. Anyone know that the possible value of this thing is? Or could anyone point me in the right direction.

This might help: The L.C. Smith Collectors Association

You'll need to track down the model and year to get a good estimate.

Agreed... model year and condition needed for accurate value. Could range from $350 to over $5000 depending. I have my grandfather’s 16 gauge side by side hammerless, he loved to bird hunt so it was well used, but I wouldn’t take anything for it because it was his.

A minimum of $600 for a field grade if it's all there and works. The 28 gauge will drive the price up from there. Different grades and better condition may drive it up into the $3500 range and even more. That's a treasure for sure!

Is there any possible way you can post a few pictures? I’m a 28ga fan and would love to see pictures of this gun.

I’ve seen a couple of LC’s that caught everyone’s attention. The 28 is a quail hunters favorite. Good luck with it.

I would love to see pictures as well, I'm a big fan of SXS shotguns and especially hammer guns.
