And on a playoff weekend yet ....go figure right ....
my bud sat out at our place looking for a hog in the morning ....
    seen several deer ...
never seen hide nor hair of a hog ....
the place looks like a hog farm i tell ya ...
the deer are even getting kinda used to them ....
the game cameras indicate herds of them .....
but for whatever reason on the most perfect weather and time of year nada .....
about 1 pm when we left ( i didnt hunt ) there was hogs all over every place i looked between my place and home ...go figure...
the good news is all the game we got to see on our road trip ....
bunches of deer hogs and even a coyote ....
and in the end my wife found THIS !
p.s. look at the build on the big ole boar hog on our place exiting stage right ...what a tank ....and then you understand how one could take an 06 at close range and run off like it wasnt a big deal

Very well built Tonka Truck you got there! You also got a good arrow head to boot! I used to find them here a lot but I don't rabbit hunt or walk the fields anymore. I know of a fellow who has his driveway made of broken or incomplete arrow heads that he found over the years off the Catawba Indian Reservation a long the Catawba River bottoms. My brother has a fair collection of them also! Good stuff Thanks !

For as old as that arrow head is, looks to be in really great shape. Here I thought you were going really old school on us. What kind of rock is it made from? You have it made though, being able to hunt those hogs all year. Thanks for sharing with us.

I tell you around here it is nice having something to hunt year around, but it’s impossible to have a nice green field or anything for deer hunting. We had to build feeders to keep the hogs from eating it all. From time to time a big hog will jump his front end up on the feeder and break the pan out of it. They are fun but they come with a price...

think I would have as many friends out to pop those hogs as possible to reduce their numbers. Contact your local food bank or a butcher shop that will grind and package all that great protein for distribution to those who could use it. especially in these hard times. JMHO

you have so many hogs at your place all the time! unreal.
