    Default Lost and Found

In my travels I watch the sides of the road frequently , road kills and other such stuff interest me along the way .
Yesterday as I cruised down the highway I just got a glimpse of what appeared to be the rack of a ten point sticking up a bit in the tall grass !
A quick u turn solidified my out of the corner of my eye glimpse ....
today I will make an attempt to find the guy that lost his buck's head .
It has a deer tag on it and his name , been laying there over a month now and its pretty ripe , but i bet he would still want it if he could find it
coyotes and such been chewing on it some ,but the rack is in good shape
I know I would want it back myself ,pretty nice buck ...
if someone can identify this deer with the owners name on that tag , it is yours to have btw

I contacted the game warden and put it up on a deer website
The game warden said he would try but don’t hold my breath
Asked me more than once if it met the legal inside spread requirement
I said for sure at around 17 inches wide , we have a 13 inside minimum here
No phone numbers on license purchases are required
Told me it was ok to keep it if I didn’t find the owner
    Stay tuned

I am ADD and always looking around as I drive and you see some interesting stuff that way. Nice ketch there outlaw. sure is a solid trophy and sure someone would love to have it back.

Uh I recently FLEW into DFW and then on to home, might have lost it in the air? LOL.

You are a great fellow to try to find the owner. If it don't work out for them then enjoy your skull mount. I'm sure you got a place to put it in the barn. You could start your own lost and found section!

well guess what ,the game warden did find the guy ....go figure right
the one phone is always busy when i call it and the other is no longer his number
the interesting part is where i found it is pretty close to where he lives
this in turn tells me his dog or the local coyotes are likely getting real regular beatings over it
i will try to get it back to him when i head out that way Monday one more time
