the top end ones are nice , but as stated some of the cheaper ones are great . Nikons should run in the low 100 range .
but the best way to tell if they are the ones you want is to pick them up and use them.
look to the farthest point away in the store and tune in on something tiny and see if its a real bright crystal clear image .

Me and a friend bought a pair of vortex diamondback 10x42 roof prism binos last year. This year he went hunting with his brother who has a pair of swarovski binos (not sure on size but high price range). My friend said out to 500 yards he thought his vortex binos were just as good if not better than the swarovski but out past 500 yards the swarovski definitely did better at letting you see detail. Just a little comparison for you to take into account. The vortex can be a little higher prices than some of the Nikon's but I think I found mine on sale for around $200. It was the first time I had ever bought a expensive pair of binos but I am very happy that I did now.

Burris products work well for me, and are reasonably priced, based on 52+ years of hunting experience and range time, and a limited budget. Good luck with your search.

Forgot to mention I wear glasses with astigmatism. These have one of the longest eye relief. And 7x50

i own 3 pairs of Nikons and have looked thru a ton of glass over the years .
i dont typically worry much about my glass as they dont cost tons of cash .
but they are durable and will pull in detail quite well .
that all said you wont likely find really suitable optics for much under a 100 from what i have seen .
there are cheaper ones out there and burris and leupold and on and on make good glass to .
50 objectives are a must for me in low light conditions
that is something i might add as a tip on a bino purchase .
more compact glass dont gather as much light .

I wouldn't buy binoculars I couldn't look through before I paid for them. The Redfield binos I posted about are around $100. Go to a sporting goods store and try some out. Nothing worse than spending money on something that doesn't work like you want it to.

Another thing to consider.... Even cheap "glass" is clear when it's new.

Whatever you do, don't leave a store with anything that says Bushnell, Barska, BSA, or Tasco on it.

I highly recommend putting out multiple cameras,I run on average 8-10 trail cams year round.I get to see what is moving around every day and night in all conditions.
