i used to have a pair that visited me just like that , interesting as i never seen it before until this post .
my older daughter said she wanted to shoot a varmit back when and i said i know where 2 foxes are every morning .
well let me tell you this much . they came right up like always and she was ready with the hammer back ....
the bigger one got directly in front of her at about reach out and touch distance and i squeaked like a mouse ....
it hopped up on a log and posed like a national geographic photo in the sun for a couple of seconds ....
and i whispered NOW ....
nothing happened and they wandered off and i was like what happened kiddo ?
that was about as perfect an opportunity as you will ever get ....
she DAD , they are way to cute to kill ....
i swear i about cried , i aint never forgot that trip ....hilarious for sure .
all was not lost though , she got her first harvest on a turkey about 30 minutes later

Now that’s a cool story for sure!
