    went couple times in my twenties and then in my early 60's and even tho I never got a shot at one did get quite a bit of meat in the sharing. Love elk steaks and tenderloin! incredible adventures above the madison river in Montana and last couple were with buddy who brought out 4 of his own horses so even more epic riding before and after dark up and down mountains!

    Please send me a pack of chili meat. Never tasted elk. Just kiddin on the send me, really never had the chance to try some. Congrats on filling the freezer.

    It does make good chili but it really makes a good stew. I think it makes the best stew of any meat.

    Here's a top loin (backstrap) and 50lbs of straight burger

    A horse mountain hunt is the best way to experience elk hunting.
