seems to about only attract bucks for whatever reason , we moved the feeder to just barely in the woods to increase deer sightings and sure enough its mostly deer at that feeder now
why mainly bucks i have not a clue , one doe here and there and an occasional pig , but the rest of the time and especially in the am its bucks .
saw 7 in one frame at the same time ,go figure

I'm thinking maybe you are seeing mainly bucks is that this time of year the bucks are using a lot of nutrition energy growing antlers and are looking for "easy" food. Which would also mean that providing them with some mineral licks would help.

i have licks at all my feeders , i use old school trace mineral blocks , but we see does at the other feeders with fawns as well . Not sure why the bucks prefer this location over the others but to be sure they visit there frequently in numbers . I have one video with at least 7 on it at the same time .

These bucks are traveling in batchelor groups in the early stages of antler growth and it's fawning time for the girls so they tend to stay with there kind. Those old nannies know the guys hang out at that feeder so they stay away.

read some articles in the past about the better spots in the woods for deer and how the does and fawns often live in areas of greater abundance and the bucks stay more on the fringes of the best range .
not sure but one thing for certain i love to see them bucks in groups before they get all bullied up and disperse
