Thread: negotiating a SURRENDER he was !

this here story is a tall one but to be just as sure it really happened .
I got some long time friends that have a place west of ft worth . they bought it years ago to hunt on with the family around 200 acres . they love to hunt hogs at night with high end night vision and some kind of custom built rifles ..blackout something er others …
anyway Saturday night my bud downs a big old boar hog about 8 30 pm and leaves it laying where it dropped .
So he went back to the cabin and ate and said I will drag it off in the daylight tomorrow .next morning he asks his dad if he wants to help him drag it off . dad was like you shot it its your problem son . just take the 4wheeler and a rope and drag it off like we always do to the creek . them big old stinky boars aint good for nothing .
well my bud gets there and notices the hog had moved a little away from where it went down . thinks hmmmm, coyotes prolly tried to drag it off , it was about 8 am .
So he ties the rope on the 4 wheeler and walks over to the hog and as he bends down he notices its ear flicker
now here is where it got interesting REALLY fast , it was up on its feet in a blink looking away from him and turned on a dime and charged him !
he said its eyes were big as golf balls as it flashed them razors at him and he tried to back up . the 4wheeler by gods grace was idling and the fan kicked on right when the hog came forward . the hog veered slightly and went for the 4 wheeler instead of him . now mind you he has a 45 strapped on his hip and this all happened so fast he never even got to pull it !
The hog grabbed the foot rest skid plate and lifted the 4wheeler about 6 inches of the ground and tried to give it a shake . then as fast as it all began it was gone in the brush ….along with my buds soiled underwear I bet as well .
he had me crying when he told me the story and the best part of it all , his spy cam got a photo of it right when it started .
he said it was about 5 seconds of total terror and to be sure he is lucky he didn't lose a few fingers or toes ….
word to the wise yawl , NEVER trust a hog that's been shot ...that one was still there and not dead after a head shot 12 hours later !
