Default The last day of deer season

is today in north texas , does and spikes the last 2 weeks
and to be sure the deer are REALLY skittish
I saw 4 does yesterday in a spot where I normally see 20 or more
2 in one group and 2 in the other
they normally let me drive up close and just stand there
    NOT yesterday though
both pairs bolted as soon as I slowed up the truck
and on my game camera in the daylight was only one daytime doe video
and they was running thru the woods as well .
I wasn't trying to gather a deer just looking .
but to be sure in some spots I see herds I never even saw one yesterday
here are a couple of distant photos I took .
one doe stopped in the wood line to look back on the first pair
the second pair ran tails up until they were gone
even the hogs are skittish , I noticed they go up the feeder and don't eat
just stand and look at the corn

They know! Pretty sure hunting season regulations are required reading for deer!

We have a few weeks left and the deer are not moving good in the day light. I'm about burnt out myself. Ready for spring fishing and Turkey hunting

Tennessee season has been over for 3 weeks now. I guess it’s time to start fishing again.

we will try to hunt some more if the hogs will cooperate . but most of our "game" seasons are done with in these parts .
