    Default Geese around Crowder


    Got my camper at Enid, and am looking to make a few specklebelly hunts just down the hill in the delta from there. Dont know anything about any wma's or public property, or anything. Any help is appreciated

    It is a little early for goose hunting in the Delta. January is probably the best time. We have so many here then that you should not have any trouble finding a place to hunt, especially if they are in a farmers wheat field. They have gotten to be a nuisance here. They will be all over the fields in Jan. I haven't seen any here yet.

    I thought goose season started a bit later but I don't do waterfowl anymore and have no clue other than we don't have any here in texas yet , but they will come soon I bet

    Thanks guys. I meant in Jan. Im crappie fishing now, but due to the non res restrictions in Ar. I am staying in Miss this year and need a goose field around Crowder in Dec/Jan. If anyone can help, id appreciate it. Thanks

    No migratory geese or ducks yet in Southern Indiana or southern ILlinois yet. Been to dang warm up here but getting colder finally as we chat.

    I heard honkers yesterday ….first time this year …..seems the migration has begun .
    seen big flocks of water nasty birds last week at another lake …..water vulture black ones in big ole v formations
