    Default Pig - jump gun

Someone ask about a gun for running deer with dogs and I thought I would put this up. This is my favorite gun when I'm trying to jump pigs or deer. Not many long shots happen when you doing this type of hunting so I have a low powered scope for fast shots. It's a 44mag ruger Deerfield. People will say it's to small for deer but under 100yrs it's more that you need. I've taken 200lb running pigs so a buck is no problem. Anyway hopefully y'all will enjoy it they are hard to find but a great rifle for close range. Name: 20190929_205902.jpg

    I built a .450 bushmaster on AR-15 platform. It's a pig thumper too.

Hand loading brings the Ruger 44 mag up close to 30/30 territory. The 450 Bushmaster is definitely a thumper
