A TURKEY !
Holy thanksgiving batman !
we have a TURKEY on the place !
AND she got a weeee little turkey chick with her !
saw 6 doe ,3 fawns, 1 turkey and chick, lots of pigs and a few coons
bunches of hawks and doves and had a grand time Friday afternoon .
pulled cards on cameras ,shot 3 pigs an hour apart and my bud whacked …
the last one when I was in the truck going to get him .
we only recovered one hog though as they took the brush and jungle after the hits .
notice in the game camera photos the hog comes in
starts to eat with a coon together
and then the KABOOM
and then ….
me wandering around trying to find said hogs in the dark

That is so cool to see. I took this picture last week on our deer lease. The Turkey hen kept trotting out in front of me and I couldn't figure out why until these little guys popped out of the grass.

how cool is that brother …..
what gets me is we never seen or heard a turkey near our place since I bought it last year .
I was pretty sure we didn't have any in the area at all and then looked there .
many moons ago a mom quail crossed the road in front of me
and I have only seen this twice in my life
both times they had a slew of lil bitty tiny peanuts following them
