    Default Way to much work

all this harvesting and harvesting of game is wearing me down I tell ya . I grow more and more slow on the trigger speed every day ….I even had a bud tell me about a real big ten point that stood around in front of him in the rain that he said anyone would take .
He had a tag for it and never raised the rifle and said it was just gunna be to much work
I will agree and to be sure I am done doing anymore game unless my wife makes me do it ….
she is the stock the freezer well lady and I told her we are stocked pretty well dear with deer and hogs ….
made some sausage the other day instead of hunting , whats wrong with that picture I ask ya ….
I feel inclined to just observe some and pull the trigger less and probably will take another deer at some point but I aint in a hurry for sure right now unless I don't have to clean it ….lol
the hog festival is way out of control right now and am even having a hard time giving them away at this point .
heck even my lil helper hound wont try to drag a deer hide off the tail gate right now ...she only sniffs em as of now …..I think she is even tired of it too …..

Yep, from the hoof to the dinner plate takes time and work. I have friends that comment on how good my Summer Sausage and ring Sausage taste and ask if I'd like to do theirs,I just smile and shake my head......Nope.Name: image.jpeg

Do it like rich people and find a good processor! I'm like you, I work and don't take time to hunt and harvest just anything. I don't want it to be a chore. Pleasurable times with my two son's is all I need. Heck they do the processing for me. All I got to do is watch! They were trained at a early stage!

My second son and his boys have all the equipment and love to grind and make those jalepeno brats, sacita's, sausage and ground venison. Heck I didn't touch my trophy buck till it was on the tailgate to get a pic! He did everything including caping it out. I played host at my cabin for his crew and did a little cooking but they did most of that too. So this was a great year! they whacked 6 bucks and had plenty to keep em gringing.

I was able to spend a lil time crappie fishing which made me happy.
