    Default Poor lil feller


    well it's been a rough season for me this year. Missed 2 shots, hit one with full pass through but no blood, no recovery. Missed again this morning, then the small buck I'd shot and missed took about 4 or 5 more steps my direction and I let one fly. As soon as I hit the release he took another step so it gut shot him. No arrow but we got one hanging now.
    He ain't much to look at but that's meat in the freezer...

    You recovered him, meat in freezer and thats all that counts. Fine deer in my book.

    With a bow, an excellent harvest. I missed one early in the year myself, very aggravating. Looks as if he will provide a good amount of meat for the family for the winter, hopefully the little one likes venison also.

    Shes been raised on it, so I'd say she does. Lol.
