    Default New Illinois Record

Rough score over 315 as Illinois record is 296 I think. What a rack and with a bow.

The absolute only way a deer could get that big in AL was if it was in a high fence. We don't have the genetics or the soil to grow deer like that.

I stand corrected, green score 311 with 39 countable points, shot by disables vet Luke Brewster of Virginia, Hunting in Edgar Co. between Paris and Christmas IL. Current archery world record in IL is 294 taken in Ohio in 2000 by Michael Beatty. Illinois record for non-typical is 267 1/8 in 2003 by Davy Jones.

That deer was was killed 80 miles from my house as the crow flys in the Wabash River bottoms in IL. I have a big 12:who started chasing does last Thursday and he has crossed my yard now 5 times, onc chasing a doe. He is covering such hilly cut over timber you would have to sit in a stand daylite till dark every friggin day and have to just about shoot him on the run as he won’t stand still. He will go maybe you 170. And maybe 4 more like that within a mile. And no!!! Don’t nobody ask me if you can hunt!

Yeah that's a sho nuf monster for Bama. They'll probably be 5-10 B&C bucks killed in the whole state this year. Illinois probably averages 3-5 times that many per county.

Brad I agree we for sure don’t have the giants those Midwest states have. Usually two or three really big bucks killed at our club every year

Furflyin the bama record is 310 with a bow. The top 10 are 190+, we just don't grow as many or as often.
