I have missed with a bow, and with rifle, and with pistol. Short career with that last one. I didn’t know how to stop them without spooking yet and almost shot her in the butt. I whistled one past a buck with a rifle and he just stood there. Even the does didn’t spook. Figured I had something way off so I didn’t try again and slipped out later. Scope was knocked about 2’ off at 50 yds. We’ve all been there. I felt real dumb with my bow miss though.
