Recently made the switch to Amazon basics, thus far they have proven to be as good as the top brand batteries.Im using Amazon AAA's in my trail cams,AA, in my flashlights, and I switched from 6volt batteries in my freeders to a 4 pack D cell unit.

Duracell and rayovac makes a commercial " pro grade" battery. They are more$$. You about have to go to a battery store or a company that sells commercial stuff to find them. Rayovacs are Rayovac ulterior pro and I'm thinking the duracells are Duracell pro. Either one should be better than the standard version. Interstate batteries may have some type of commercial grade D or AA as well

we used to think that until we found dollar store batteries often outlasted duracells ….I use rayovac right now and get 15000 or more photos off a set ….lots of it is the camera and not the battery ,,,just saying ,,,,I used to run cuddeback and man did they eat batteries like ridiculous fast . a set a week ,no matter what brand . the stealth cams I run now use a set about once a month or 6 weeks .
not downing Duracell but they are really not that much better than some of the off brands from what I saw back when we used bunches of batteries .

Seems like with the heat I have to use the Lithium or Commercial grade batteries or they don't last but

different cameras sure do use more battery life than others

All my cameras run off AA. I purchase the Energizer rechargeable batteries and rotate them out. Best thing I have ever done. Now I can change them out when they still have 30-40% charge and not worry about wasting battery or them going dead from not changing them out. It was more upfront cost but they have more than paid for themselves now.

I run Meijer brand batteries in my cameras. Thing thing to think about with battery life is number of photos.

These batteries cost me 14 bucks for 48. The majority of my camera cards get swapped every 6-7 days. On average, I get 1500 photos per camera per week. A set of batteries with this number will roughly get me 15 to 20k photos.

Understand that I live in Michigan and we run anywhere from 60 at night down to negative 10. Batteries don't last as long. Also, the time of day will determine shot quality so if a lot of your photos are at night, you will get more.

Another consideration is the camera itself and settings you run. Lower res pictures take less.

I've tested and evaluated more than 20 different makes, models, and manufactures. The best I have found in terms of size, quality, and trigger speed is the Cabelas brand 8 and 12 mega pixal. I've put these next to Bushnell, Browning, Cuddyback, and several others side by side. For long lasting, quality trigger, and longevity of battery life, the Cabelas beats them all.

For what it is worth, they are made by Moultre.
