Default CZ 22 mag. Model 512

Had fun shooting this gun.3 shot dime size groups some were cutting the same hole at 25 yds.using cci maxi-mag (JHP) 40 gr. Plan on head shooting squirrels so decided to buy and shoot some cci v-max Polymer tips 30 gr at 25 yds to get those 3 shot dime size groups will the 30 gr cci be better for squirrels.Don't eat the heads so not worried about blowing it up lol.
Not wanting to shoot at squirrels more than 25 yds to start, never used .22 for squirrels have only used 410,20 and 12 gauge.

Killed a lot of squirrels with .22 mag, if your going to stick to head shots which is what I always did it doesn't matter.. but if you take any type of body shot a solid/fmj bullet is best as the .22 mag will blow the whole front end off a squirrel if any bone is hit.
CZ`s are awesome little guns owned 2-3 of them, one was a .22 mag.
I would just stick with what your using as they are plenty accurate, might try some longer shots just in case also.

That close of group at 25 yards should still be close enough for the head shot out to 50 yards also. Don't see no need to change bullets either like dbowling said.

Dad didn’t hunt with me and I was self taught. First gun was a 410 single with no choke and an 18” barrel. Puffed a lot of quail and bagged lots of squirrels with #6 loads in that 410. Not many pellets but they hit em hard. Dad did have a 22 bolt action w/clip and small scope that did well the few times I used it. Need to break it out and get the biscuits ready.
