I always looked at the manufactures ballastics for each . Then choose based on my hunting needs. Then I went to the range and sighted in with those rounds. If you change manufacture or grain, or powder, go back to the range. Every round is different.

I used to use the 150 gr. Remington in mine ...seemed to do fine ….I didn't long range so it wasn't important to me to have serious ammo ….core lok is pretty good ammo and I still use it my 30 06 religiously ….and it don't break the bank

Federal Fusion 150gr shoots amazingly in my Abolt. Try several different rounds and let the rifle decide. All of them will deflate a deer rapidly.

What ever the rifle likes. I shoot 165g fedaral fusion. Same price as corelocks and better preference. If you want max power hornaday Superformance.

Remington Core-Lokt 150gr is shooting tight groups in my .308 Savage 11 pro hunter.I am going to shoot a box of Hornady American Whitetail 150 gr. To see how they group.

I shoot Fed Premium 165 grain Trophy Bonded, but, my son used to shoot Fed Classic 150 grain in his and we got the same results, dead deer.

Have shot lots of various loads and bullets . 40 yrs. later, back to Remington core-locks . While some may shoot a little tighter I give less than 20 dollars a box. Some are in the 60.00 range now that can not kill a deer any more dead . I like the 150's in 308 and 30-06 .
