    Default Deer woods weekend.

Deer season opens in November for us. However we headed down last weekend to move some deer stands, clear some me fire lanes, and scout out the area. Got home and applied for deer permit lottery. It was a great weekend weather wise, and I killed my first tick of the season.

Those ticks are such a pain. Probably why fall winter is my favorite.

I don't mind the ticks as much as I do the chiggers. I hate those little things.
We wanted to mushroom hunt while there, however the weather didn't cooperate this year.

With the hunting land taken care of, I can get back to fishing and camping activities.

I rode my 4 wheeler trails a week or so ago and cut a couple of downed trees out of my way. Still have one big one down, but I'll deal with it later. Saw no bugs or snakes. It won't be long, though.
