Nothing like doing anything with your kids but deer hunting? that's special! WTG my daughters don't hunt but like to eat what I get for them. Don't deer hunt much lost my private land so my OCD is in full roar and use that time to crappie fish.

She tracked a lost 8 point with me on my shoulders when she was 3 years old I might mention and yes we found that deer and I had her stay on the last blood spot while I crawled into the thicket with my knife in case he wasn’t done .the buck went a blooming long way for sure and she was a game chicken helping me ....wasn’t much to do out in the middle of nowhere and that’s where we lived when she was a lil thang .....fun stuff ...thanks for the comments and reads

You're a lucky man Daddy. My oldest had the seed planted years ago when she was single digit in age. Shooting everything I owned and not flinching one bit. Fast forward many years and she has married an avid hunter and taken deer nicer than her Dad ever has. I gave her my Winchester .243 2 years ago and she has carried ever since. Just to make me even happier than I ever thought I could be, my granddaughter took her first deer, a good doe, a few weeks back on a trip to family land in Arkansas. I'm just a little proud, and I fully understand how you feel about your little girl. You have taught her well.
