Wow, what a horrible day on the water.

Everyone I talked to had the same report; noda, zip, zero, zilch, I got a tan.....

16 fisherman in the tournament and we caught 3 Crappie. Yep, only 3 keepers. One Walleye, and if this was a Bass tournament, we all would have won.

The heat all week long caused a serious case of lockjaw. We tried shallow, deep, and everwhere in between. Nobody was able to put together a pattern.

Like I said three fish caught, one team had two Crappie, and one team had one Crappie.

The team of Tom Beamer and Danny Chin won with a total weight of 14.6 ounces. They also won Big Fish contest with the 14.6 ounces.

The team of Dan Whitecotton and Tim Kearner came in second place with 10.8 ounces.

The big fish weighed more than the two fish of the second place team. banghead

Normally we would be in the middle of spawn, hoever due to the early spring, spawn is over, combined with the heat, the fish weren't hungry at all. On the plus side, a single keeper would have won thrid place, you should have been here. You could have won!!!

Next tournament is at Lake Evergreen. Check the schedule.

The winning team with the winning fish. Way to go gentlemen.
