I was so pleasantly surprised when I went to the mailbox today. In it was a surprise package from James E. Bently (eddieb on crappie dot com) with a handmade Rosewood pen that he made. Ecclestiates 11:1 says "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. " He enclosed the following note which is so awesome...." Hello Reverend Carter. I hope all is well for you. My name is James Bently. My screen name on Crappie.Com is eddieb. I see you on crappie.com a lot and you are always giving advise and helping out people with your jig tying. So when I made this last batch of pens, you came to my mind as someone to give one to. This is all hand made so it may not be peprfect. It is 24K gold plated. It is made from Olive Wood from Bethlehem. It is a twist pen. To refill ink pull pen apart and unscrew cartiledge.
