    Default Double secret fishing hole.

Took a trip to the double secret fishing hole close to the Little river (ya have to go threw 2 gates to get there, hence the double secret) with the neighbor this morning. Brought home 15 nice eaters. Casting my Brimfisher underspin heads with an Acid rain grub, rubbed with Slabsauce. Picked up a couple nice Bluegills too.Name: 20230513_124119.jpg

That's my kind of fishin. We bump and bang through out hole to, just no motor to worry about. We paddle our way around.

Old Charles Salter, who wrote the fishing column for the Atlanta Journal, (back when it was civilized) used to call these spots "Lake Private".. My paranoia of water moccasins kept me from going with him much. Oh that was 30-35 years ago, I guess.
You're right...they are MOST peaceful and no drunks or craziness anywhere.
I liked your post and the memories of a more civilized time in Georgia (just memories here from an old man)
