    Default Lake Oconee Crappie 10-14-22

    Water Temps: 68-73
Quality fish are biting with the decreasing water temps and seemed to have been shallower in the flooded timber in Sugar Creek. Fish were 10-15 in the timber and would crush a dead stick presentation.
Mouth of coves had groups of smaller fish hugging the bottom with the larger fish chasing Shad in the open water. Weather is getting perfect so get on the water and chase the thump!

A consistent bite is definitely welcome with the cooler temps. I’ve struggled with Oconee all summer and it was nice to see some Big Ol Hand Kandys again. Tightlines to ya and thanks for the reply.
