Default 2022 MONTANA FLY FISHING TRIP

I flew to Bozeman, Mt. on Monday 7/18 and my youngest son Matt picked me up at the airport. Matt drove out the week prior and fished with his son and a friend for a few days before my arrival. As usual, we fished the Madison River. The fishing in July is very good and we caught and missed a lot of great fish. We left Ennis, Mt. Saturday morning 7/23 at 9:30 a.m.. We drove straight through and arrived at Matt's house in Fayetteville, Ga. at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. It is a 30+ hour drive any way you slice it. I know this is not Crappie fishing but I hope you will enjoy. Thanks.

No guide. My son Matt guided on the Madison the summer he finished college in 1996. He worked in West Yellowstone two summers prior to '96' and fished in his free time. He became friends with Aarick Swanson, who owned Aarick's fly shop and guide service in West Yellowstone and guided for Aarick that final summer. We've been fishing the Madison since the mid 90's. Matt still has his own drift boat and is an amazing fly fisherman.
