Default Anyone fishing Flint River for Crappie?

I fish south of Lake Blackshear and was wondering if anyone caught Crappie on the river? Its real shallow I have to walk to boat several places I just got into fishing about 3 years ago.

Ahh okay Thank You Sir. I have put in at Veterans a few times but never been north end above Spring Creek. Is there anywhere to put in on North end of the lake? It would take forever with the 25 lol. Its not always a bad thing just gets rough on the lake.

camper haven has a public boat ramp you pay $2.00 for parking . there is 2 spots by 2 different owners one is around the boat ramp and the other one is across the road with box to put the money in . from there it is 16 minute run with my boat running 27 mph . there is a lot of timber to fish around in back water wit no fast boat traffic .

No Sir I didnt. I have been checking the river and 2 creeks near me with the USGS site and the Flint is up 6ft north of the lake. The Kinchafoonee is at minor flood stage and the Muckalee isn’t far from it. They are all crest a day or so ago

Well dang. The water looked real dirty when i stopped by for a few minutes. I assumed it was up and figured i would wait till next Sat. Yesterday would have been a nice day cloudy and not sweat to death
