    Default Blackshear

We arrived Friday around lunch at the state park campground and left Sunday around lunch. We didn't catch many fish but had fun. We didn't catch any Friday, 5 Saturday, and 5 Sunday. The biggest fish were caught Sunday in 14 FOW and fishing about 11 foot deep trolling at 0.2 mph. Saturday I trolled around with other people in Cedar creek, the creek straight across the lake from marina, creek that we crossed coming into the park and didn't see very many fish caught. Best color for us was Tex popsicle from Flint River that I picked up on the way in. My buddies trolling motor quit so I just hook a rope to my boat and we kept right on fishing. Here's a few pictures of the fun. Name: 20210313_091553.jpg

Looks like y’all had a great trip.
I jumped in the lake at the park way back in mid sixties and stuck a beautiful flint arrow head in my foot. Prettiest I’ve ever found.

Looks like a great time had by all. It was tough on Blackshear last week,at least for me.Blackshear is a good lake, just hard to fish sometimes. Glad y'all had a great time.
