Default 6’6” or 7’ rods for trolling recommendations?

I recently got some 6’ rods that are medium and they are a little stiff. I think I’ve lost some fish due to them. I want a 6’6” or 7’ that’s nice and limber to troll with out the back of my boat. Any recommendations? I’m having trouble finding what I’m looking for. Are the Mr crappie slab shaker rods pretty good? Do they hold up well?

They are ok. Check out the ACC rods. I just bought four of the eight foot green stick and they work great

I’ll check out the company but 8’ is too long for what I’m wanting

I use the ACC off the rear of boat. I like that length as it helps to clear motor better while the boat is turning

I run 4 7' Shakespeare Micro light action rods out the back. Good rods, never had a issue with them. I run 2 of the 6'6'" Micro's out of the front of the boat as my "close" rods.

If you can find them the silstar pinnacle limit 2, are a good choice for long line trolling from the back of the boat. inexpensive as well, they start in 8' ive used them for several years now.

I run two 5.5' rods on each side of the motor. Then one 6' rod, one 8' rod, one 10' rod, one 12' rod, and one 14' rod. Works for me.

Many different type rods that are good. Like at least 8 footers out the back.
