Default Blackshear Report (3 Dec 20)

Went to Blackshear today. First thing we did was stop by Flint River Outdoors and picked up few minnows to tip our jigs. Then proceeded to launch boat but had to quickly reload because forgot that I took plug out last trip (rookie mistake). Headed straight to the channel and started trolling. The first hour produced one Fish......called friend and asked what I was doing wrong.....he was using heavier lead and fishing deeper. We changed up and the bite was on. We were tipping jigs with minnows and fishing deep.....that was the key to catching fish today for us......great day to be on the water.

I have been thinking about trying it next weekend. I have only been to Blackshear once at the end of May and caught 4. I have several of your litewire hooks but the jig colors I used in May didn't work that well. I see that the lake is about 4ft low so where would be the best place to start trolling. I'm not asking for GPS points but a general area would help. The only ones I caught in May were at the mouth of Cedar and the deep docks north of cedar.
