    Default FALL CRAPPIE TROLLING

Jim and I fished yesterday and had a good day of catching. The trolling has been a bit slow for us as of late but we were able to find some hungry fish. Hope you enjoy the video.

Nice fish and video! I hope to get to go next week. I have had the old China virus.

you all did well but what we want to see is how you put your rods out, set up on the water and how you decide where to troll. nice to see you ketchn all those fish but your whole video was just measuring and putting in well. JMHO

We decide where to troll based on time of year, location of timber, ledges, creek beds, mouths of coves, water conditions, what the depth finder shows, intel from other fishermen and luck. Jim fishes with 14 and 16 foot rods tight lining out of the front of the boat. The length of line he lets out is usually 12-16 feet depending on the depth we see fish. I explained our setup in the video. The following video should help:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
