    Default Serious Question

I moved here last year and I keep hearing people winterizing their boats. Do Georgians not fish in the cold weather. Was talking to a guy about going to Oconee tomorrow he looked at me like I cursed him out. Is this not a good lake at this time. tail

To me winterizing my boat means hosing the Slab some off the deck after a trip to the lake.

If you own a wake boat please winterize it until at least July. If not keep fishing, i catch them all winter long. Scott

You need to find someone else to talk to about winter fishing in the south. It's some of the best fishing of the year.

Best way to winterize your boat in South Georgia is get on the lake and catch some slabs!
