    Default Eufaula

Went over to Eufaula and Fished a little bit Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday was a tough day as we fished between showers and tried fighting the wind but ended with 20. We tried 5 different structure piles before I gave up on fighting the wind. It was white capping all day.

We kept 25 Sunday morning before heading home. We fished one structure pile that we caught the most on Saturday. It started out cloudy and the fish were biting and then sun came out and they quit.

I'm headed back September 12th for a little fishing and hunting. Maybe it will get a little cooler by then.

Maybe it will stay that way. I just looked and it shows high of 84 and the end of next week. That will be nice.

The leaves are already falling in Lake Park so hopefully that means cool weather is coming soon.

They have dropped it about 2ft since mid July. I ran the main channel and didn't have a problem. I was in the mouth of a creek and hit a stump that I have never hit before. I was in 19 FOW where I hit it so try to be careful when not in the main channel. I put in at Old town and Lakepoint with no problems. Here is a link to watch the water level. The article I read says they will drop it to 186.
