Since Memorial day, the wife and I had done very well fishing the railroad bridge on the river channel. Slip bobbers at 20' were producing 15-29 fish every Saturday and Sunday until last weekend. The bite slowed there considerably and it didn't get any better this past Saturday. I went out Sunday morning at sunrise and found a brush pile in a cove upriver from the water intakes for Lagrange and Troup county. Fishing 10' deep with a slip bobber, it seemed every other cast put one in the boat. A lot of dinks, but I came home with 17 fish between 10" and 14". It was still going strong at 12:30 when I ran out of minnows. I'll be back this weekend.
