    Default Something new

I have been thinking of trying new waters. I mainly fish Eufaula and a small lake in Madison, Fl. I am thinking about going to Blackshear, Talquin, or Seminole. I have fished Talquin a couple times 4-5 years ago. I live in Lake Park, Ga. and I am a teacher and as long as I have internet I can do my school work. I'll do a day trip but need suggestions on how the fish are doing, jig colors, and which would be my best choice right now.

You have a number of options in FL. Crescent, Orange, St. Johns River, and Monroe. Check out the FL CDC page for info.

I would like to stay around an hour or so drive because I don't want to stay in motels yet.

Been a off year at Talquin this year. It happens. Should be awesome next year with all the throw-backs I've caught this year!

Well it's down to Seminole and Blackshear. I will be going during the week just because of all the ski boat and jet skis.

What colors are working at Blackshear and Seminole? Do I need to tip with minnows?

Tuesday on Seminole colors were black/chartreuse, chartreuse, chartreuse and orange. As the water clears you can drop the orange.
