Default Helix 7 and 10 SD Cards

Any recommendations on which chart/navigation cards to purchase? Mostly using for central and south Ga lakes.

Maps that come with the Helix is good but if you want more, get the Lakemaster Plus SE or Navionics. I have both and like the Navionics better.

I use Navionics on my Helix. But learn to use the Automapping apps. It's the "HEAT!"

Check the humminbird site to make sure the lake you want is included on the southeast states lakes. I was surprised the Jackson Lake isn't on there. Sinclair and West Point are, but Jackson is closer to me.

Look on the website for the chart select option... you can download single lakes for the HD contour and even get the "smart strike" overlay... not sure how reliable it is, but for 4.99... It might be worth a try.

    Best of luck....

Danbo, if you had it to do over would you still purchase the LM or Nav cards?

For whats it worth, I have both. But I've used Navionics so long I'm just use to it. I played with the LM off and on and it's not that bad of a chip. Mostly comes down to what U get use to operating. But like I mentioned before, the Auto Mapping on the Helix is a great tool for mapping your favorite fishing hole. You want go wrong with either one. The Auto Mapping has up my game ten-fold in knowing the lakes I fish!
