Great report!!!!
Sorry for the late post, had not fished for over a month and just went fishing. Long line trolled water 12’-8’ deep, 1/16-1/24 jig heads and used my own soft plastics. Got on the water real early had to Use running lights. Once we got to the area first fish came with in 5 min. Really nice fish. We had several large fish one white crappie 16” long and several black over 14” lots of smaller fish we thew back to go up. Had 35 took home 28 some to fry some to smoke in our smoker. Some new colors showed promise, the old tried and true blue chartreuse did well as did sour grape. Water temp. 61 lots of trash in the water to deal with looks like the spawn is right around the corner.

Like a freight train, tangled up everything...not to tick off the green carp guys...we call them trash fish. I will cut the sides out of one though

We launched my soft plastics late season last year then this year it was wide open...so busy making baits. Had a first place in Crappie USA pro division Weiss lake this year. I started a pro staff team they had a second, third place. Then a customer had a first and a second in a club tournament. In 6 stores this year , private mom and pops stores around Weiss. Proud how far I’ve gone this year. Now plans are in the works that are big. Just can’t share till the deal is done.
