I do eat all my fish from there, but I do want to know how to catch the crappie in the lake. Are there good size crappie in Juliette ?
Without trying to make this a "political" post maybe this will help. http://www.eregulations.com/wp-conte...Guidelines.pdf

Thank you, I’ve never had any luck with crappie. I catch bass, and sometimes yellow perch. But I may not be fishing the right end of the lake. I normally stay on the lower end with all the clear water.
The only person I ever heard of catching crappie at Juliette fished at night. He put out lights in the standing trees in deep holes he had found. He came home with a limit every time and they were some very pretty crappie, like Lake Oconee size. He hated to troll or push or shoot docks, he just like to put out lights and drink beer and catch crappie. I took him trolling at Oconee and we caught a limit but he said he didn't like fishing that way. LOL. How can you not like catching big crappie? He was a little different, but those were some pretty crappie he caught.
When I fished Juliette regularly, I would drop shot minnow around the timber to catch a mess of crappie and yellow perch. Never did much good longlining or pushing.

Tolling is tough since water is very clear and deep! Drop shot minnows is the best way.
Awesome thank y’all for the help. It definitely a different kind of fishing, most places I fish brush piles and tree but down there it’s mostly grass so it seems like the fish are more spread out.
