    Default Weekend at Talquin

I finally got to spend the day on the water with my daughter for the first time this year. We didn't catch but 5 fish, but Carrie caught her PB a 14 1/25 in beauty. Made my day.
I lost a good un at the boat. All fish were caught in 18-21 ft water.

Sunday washed out. Soon as the rain started, I left. No fish.

I hope I get to spend boat time with her again soonWeekend at TalquinWeekend at TalquinName: 20200215_140001.jpg

We fished there Fri-Sun. Didn't hit on much Friday afternoon. Saturday morning I only got a couple of hours in before my trolling motor battery died. Got back on the water Saturday afternoon and kept 15 good fish. Like Brimfisher said, Sunday was a washout. Caught 7 before the rain started. Fished in the rain for a couple of hours and not a bite. Fish are stacked in the channel like cord wood but not biting real good, but the fish being caught are good fish. Talquin ought to turn on any day now!!

Fished in the rain Sunday morning. Some are moving shallow early and late.
