Lots of crappie in West Point. Some big ones too, but on a typical trip to get a limit of 10-12” fish, you’ll throw double that back. Plenty of fun for the kids and kids at heart!

My wife and her sister have been thinking about taking the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge in Legrange in mid April so I may take the boat with me and do some fishing while I'm there. I don't see much on here about West Point so would I be wasting my time fishing up there?

I love Crappie fishing just as much as the rest of you all, but great wolf lodge is one heck of a good time as well! We take our kids at least once a year and probably have as much or more fun than they do. So you will have fun whether you take the boat or not is my guess

My wife has been talking about it lately so we are going. Right now it's looking like April 17-19. I guess weather will determine if I need to boat or not.
