It was rough.
Water temp was 49 this morning at 8 am and 50.5 at 4 pm. Little RIver is muddy, rood creek/cold branch was light stained but alot of trash. Fish were deep 25+ on the river/creek ledges...had to use double 16ths with a #4 split shot, to get it down to them. It was windy as well (5 mph my big toe, ) more like 10 with gusts to 15.
Caught 5 crappie and a 5lb hybrid....plus a 2 ft 2x4 someone threw in the lake.
But got the cobwebs knocked loose...and it was great to be back on the water.

Dutch that trash in water frustrates me to no end. I get tired of cleaning my lines every 20 yards or so. I have caught very few fish with trash on the line. With all these storms it is bad. Good luck if you get to go to Oconee.
