Going local tomorrow, prob gonna dock shoot or look for brushpiles in the creeks on Lanier. The bait is definitely up the creeks and ditches, and that's where the crappie will be. That lake is like a desert on the bottom, when I find a good pile I set a waypoint, They are starting to mount up, but the big slabs are eluding me, and most brush I have found so far has lots of shorties on them.

I love fishing Oconee, it has spoiled me for other lakes. I think I may go there Tuesday early and fish until the rain shows up, then scoot home before rush hour. I have rain gear and really hardly ever use it, plus the boat is getting icky and needs a shower!
