    Default Blackshear (30 Nov 19)

Went to Blackshear to see if fish were still there. First stop was flint river outdoors to see replica of lake record. The picture does not do the fish justice.....worth a trip to to purchase fishing supplies and see this fish. Trolled tex’s Jigs and Litewirehooks in the channel.....only obstacle was the duckweed. Wind helped scatter......good to see old friends on the lake.

    Good looking fish Mr Curtis.
I went before Thanksgiving day. White bass and hybrids wouldn't leave me alone.

You calling me old???? Good to see you out there also. And you are right, the picture does not do that fish justice. That is really a beautiful mount!! I tried to stay away from the duckweed and found a few fish, but the fish seemed to be in the area that the duck weed was in. We caught a lot of dinks and a few decent fish including this 2.34 lb Slab.
